This is a Halloween treat…a special tribute of one of Bob’s favorite cult films, the classic 1958 Steve McQueen movie, “The Blob!”
The goofy theme song, originally written by Burt Bacharach, inspired this version, “THE BOB!”, which features Laurie Sears on the Alto Sax.
Rare Release of “Nautilus” Available November 7
The legendary song “Nautilus” is being released as a 7’ Vinyl on Record Store Day Black Friday (November 27) in the US!
This release will be very limited with 500 gold vinyl for the US, 500 transparent vinyl available in Asia, and 500 transparent yellow vinyl in Europe.
This is one for the collector looking for a super rare release!

Previously unreleased recordings from jazz piano icon Bob James captured with no audience at Wollman Auditorium in New York City on January 20 & October 9, 1965 by Resonance founder George Klabin. This limited-edition 180g LP features James in two different trio settings with a mix of straight-ahead jazz standards and experimental original compositions. Includes an extensive booklet with rare photos by Tom Copi; essays by jazz writer Mark Stryker (Jazz from Detroit) & engineer George Klabin; plus interviews with Bob James, Bob Pozar and pianist Makoto Ozone. Mastered by Bernie Grundman, cut at 33 1/3 RPM and pressed by RTI.

15% of the proceeds from online ticket sales will be donated to the Black Lives Matter Global Network in support of the ongoing fight to end state-sanctioned violence against Black people. Bob has been very vocal about how Black musicians have shaped his life and career and intends to use this opportunity as a way to give back.
